"RAQS E ZANJEER" PRINTED SWEATSHIRT

 

This piece in mustard is inspired Neelo Begums iconic performance in the film Zarqa. The verses, immortalized by Neelo’s iconic performance, were first penned by the revolutionary Pakistani poet Habib Jalib – “raqs zanjeer pehn kar bhi kiya jata hai”. These verses were then adapted for the film "Zarqa" and are showcased on the front of the garment. The back includes an art illustration by Islamabad based artist - Alveena Turi.

  • 400 gsm heavyweight fleece in a cotton and polyester mix
  • Screen printed elements on the front, and handwoven printed patch on back
  • Rastah logo printed on the front
  • Washing/Handling: Hand wash with cold water inside out & hang to dry
